Sara - Physical Therapist from Italy




	My name is Sara and I am an Italian physiotherapist. I arrived with Davide at the chiang Rai camillian social center on January 1st, 2025 and I will stay until March. This is my first experience in Thailand. I was welcomed immediately in a very kind and helpful way by sister Cecilia, Jirasak and all the staff (assistants and cooks). We met the disabled students and in a short time we were able to establish a good relationship despite some initial difficulties related to language. Our working day takes place in a well-equipped room, starting at 8.30 am until 11.30 am and from 1 pm until 4 pm. During the work we treat students individually, trying to find games that help them improve their disability and make them have fun. Besides work it is very nice to play, walk and make music with the students in their free time.



	In this first month we had the good fortune to meet brother Gianni and listen to his stories about the center. We also had the opportunity to visit some villages on the mountain and learn about the places where students from the center come from.
