My name is Francisca, I’m an Occupational Therapist from Chile. And I just spend 7 months as an Occupational Therapist volunteer at the Home of Charity at CSCC.

Being a professional volunteer in this Center provide me the opportunity to know more about the Thai culture, therapy treatment, language, and more. From the first day that I arrived, I felt welcome and very thankfully for the Staff, Professionals, Priests, Brother Giovanni and Sister Cicilia, that work in this place. The work that they do every day is huge and I was very happy to contribute in the daily rehabilitation of the kids at CSCC.

Provable this experience will be one of the best one that I ever had as a    volunteer and as a professional working abroad. I really recommend this volunteer if you are looking an opportunity to give your time and work for Thai kids.

Spending almost a year at the Home of Charity give me the chance to participated in all the activities that the center do and the holidays and festivals that Thailand have during the year, which it was great, fun and memorable. The kids enjoys all activities at the center and they were always ready to have fun, laugh and participate in anything that you can offer to them.

Also I was impress for the strong mentality that the kids of the Home of Charity have, they are real fighters and perseverant during therapy sessions, I was very surprise by their welling to move forward and achieved the goals that we set up for them, it was a bless to work with them. As an OT I have the chance to create a bond with all of them and that was something that I will be grateful for the rest of my life.

I’m very happy to have the opportunity to be part of this team for almost 8 months. I will treasure the pics, moments, laughs, amazing stories, situations, birthdays, pool days, trips, holydays, Christmas, mother and father day, and much more forever.
